About CVitlo
A tool a developer wrote for his own job search
I'm a software developer. I knew that one CV sent everywhere works worse than one adjusted to each posting, and I knew how much of an evening that adjusting takes.
So I did what developers do with a tedious task: I wrote a tool for it. It reads a job posting and my CV, shows what the posting asks for that my CV already covers and what it does not, and helps me rewrite the parts that matter, without inventing anything I have not done.
I used it for my own applications first. About 60% of the applications I sent that way led to an invitation to a screening call, with product companies, consultancies and B2B contracts among them.
That is one person's experience in one job market. Yours will be different, and I can't promise a number. What I changed was adjusting every application to its job, and that is what CVitlo is built around.
