Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 October 2026
In short
- Your CVs and applications are yours. We only use them to run the service for you.
- There is a free plan with limits and paid plans with higher ones. You can cancel any time.
- AI output can be wrong. Check it before you send it to an employer.
- CVitlo is a small, young service. It is provided as it is, without guarantees of results or of being always available.
Who we are
CVitlo is operated by its founder, an individual developer. Questions about these terms: [email protected]. By creating an account or using CVitlo you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 and give us a real e-mail address.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account; tell us if you think someone else has got in.
- One person, one account. Do not use scripts or bots to use the service, or to get around plan limits.
Your content
The CVs, applications, cover letters and other text you put into CVitlo stay yours. You give us permission only to store, process and display them as needed to provide the service to you, including sending the text to an AI provider when you use an AI feature (see the Privacy Policy). You promise that what you upload is yours to use and does not break the law or anyone's rights, and that your CV is truthful. You are the one who sends it to employers, and what it says is your responsibility.
AI features and job matching
Summaries, reviews, scores, job matches, adapted CVs and cover letters are produced by an AI model. They can be inaccurate, incomplete or not right for your situation. A match score is a rough guide, not a prediction that you will get an interview or a job. CVitlo does not guarantee any hiring outcome. Job listings come from third-party job boards; we do not control them and cannot promise they are current or genuine.
Plans, payments and cancelling
- There is a free plan with limits and paid plans with higher or no limits. What each plan includes and its price are shown on the pricing page and can change over time; a change never alters a period you have already paid for.
- Paid plans are either a subscription that renews, or a one-time pass for a fixed period that does not renew. Payments are handled by Stripe.
- You can cancel a subscription any time in Settings → Manage subscription. Further charges stop and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Payments for a period that has already started are not refunded. If something went wrong, such as a double charge or a fault on our side, write to [email protected] and we will sort it out. This does not take away rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
- When a paid period ends, your account returns to the free plan. Your CVs are kept, but free-plan limits apply again.
What you may not do
- Break the law, or put in content that is unlawful, hateful or that infringes other people's rights.
- Try to break into the service, overload it, or look at other people's data.
- Copy or resell the service, its templates or its job data, or use it to build a competing product.
- Use the AI features to produce spam or to deceive, for example fake qualifications.
If someone breaks these rules we may limit or close their account. We will tell you why when we can.
Ending your account
You can delete your account yourself in Settings → Delete account. Your data is then removed as described in the Privacy Policy and an active subscription is cancelled. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or abuses the service. If we ever decide to shut CVitlo down, we will say so in good time so you can export your CVs.
No guarantees, and limits on our liability
CVitlo is a young service provided “as is”. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will be free of errors or always available, and features may change or be removed. Keep your own copy of important CVs; you can export them at any time in Settings. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as a missed job opportunity, and our liability for anything else is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
Changes and governing law
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell account holders by e-mail or in the app before the change applies. Continuing to use CVitlo after that means you accept the new terms. Where the law allows, these terms are governed by the law of Poland, without taking away the protection that mandatory consumer law of your country gives you. Questions: [email protected].
