AI cover letter generator
A cover letter is easier to write when it starts from the job posting and your own CV. CVitlo drafts one in the tone you pick, and you edit it before it goes anywhere.
Write a cover letterFrom the posting and your CV
Paste the job description, choose which of your CVs to use, and pick a tone. The draft draws on both, so it refers to what the employer asked for and what you have done.
Edit, copy or download
The letter appears in an editable box. Regenerate it for another version, copy it to the clipboard, or download a PDF. If the job is saved as an application, the letter is stored with it.
A structure that works
Open with the role and one concrete reason you are a fit, not with "I am writing to apply". Use the middle for two or three achievements that match what the posting asks for, with numbers where you have them. Close with a short, polite request for a conversation.
Address a person when the posting names one. If it does not, a neutral greeting is fine. Mirror the language of the posting without copying whole sentences.
Mistakes to avoid
Repeating your CV line by line, using the same letter for every company, claiming skills you do not have, and writing more than one page. A short letter that shows you read the posting beats a long generic one.
Keep it yours
Treat the draft as a first version. Add a specific reason you want this company, remove anything that is not true, and keep it to one page.
